Eligibility for membership of the NDP:

I am above the age of 18, and

I am a national, citizen or resident of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and

I am not a member or supporter of any other political party in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and

I am not a member or supporter of any group or organizations whose objects are prejudicial to or incompatible with those of the New Democratic Party.

Any eligible person who is desirous of joining the New Democratic shall:

Affirm support for the philosophy, principles and objects of the New Democratic Party

Agree to confirm to the Constitution, rules, programs, policies, standing orders and directives of the New Democratic Party in such manner as the Executive Council may direct; and

Fully and honestly complete the prescribed registration form; and

Pay a non-refundable Membership Application Fee of five dollars (EC$5.00) together with at least one month’s payment of the annual membership subscription of five dollars ($5.00) a month (sixty dollars ($60.00) a year; and

Be proposed by a member of the New Democratic Party in good standing.
